Sunday we headed out to Stoney Creek with Jim's cousin Jay and his family.The boys made the plans and Jim translated that to be going to Stoney Creek to feed ducks and geese and playing in a park. The real plans were to go to the beach, so of course I had no bathing suit for any of us, but I did have a soccer ball, baseball bats and balls,
Frisbees- all park stuff.
After a
brief pouting episode with Jenna over not having a suit, she quickly got over it and became a little fish in the water. Briann and Jenna hung out together playing in the sand.
All of the kids got along so nice and it was a nice break for the parents.
Jimmy and JJ were only born a few days apart from each other and became buddies in no time at all. They shared a quick snack in between playing. We had a great day at the beach and after Jay and Cheryl had us back to their house for a bbq. It ended up being one of the most relaxed days of summer.
